Surbhi Sewa is a knowledge service devoted to the care, protection and nurturing of Gau Mata. Our aim is to make authentic, useful information on Indian cattle available to everyone in simple Hindi.

The valuable heritage of knowledge about Indian cattle lies scattered across many old books, historical reports and records. We seek to find and compile this material and present it in an accessible form while preserving its original facts and references.

This platform compiles information on the breeds of Indian cattle: their history, identification, traits, husbandry and breed improvement. The Library holds rare original books and historical reports alongside their simple Hindi reader editions, and the Gallery presents historical pictures relating to cattle.

Respect for the contributions of the original authors, publishers and the institutions that make material available is the basis of our work. Each item carries its source and reference wherever possible, and the original publication is kept clearly distinct from the Hindi reader edition.
